The Supreme Court today dismissed the appeals filed by Dayanidhi Maran and others against Madras High Court judgment which had refused to discharge him in the Telephone Exchange case. A Bench of Justices Ranjan Gogoi, R Banumathi, and Navin Sinha heard the appellants for around 5 minutes before dismissing the appeals. Justice Gogoi was adamant from the very beginning and when Senior Counsel Vikas Singh who was appearing in item 54.3 tried to present his case first. “Why do you want to jump the queue”, asked Gogoi J.
